Role Overview & Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

• Comply with all Health and Safety legislation
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy
• General labouring duties
• Assisting in clearing and preparing site for construction work to commence
• Learning how to lay, level and finishing concrete for foundations and floors
• Learning and becoming confident in the Interpretation of plans and drawings
• Learning to install and test private drainage systems
• Pulling all knowledge learnt to eventually progress into being a working groundworker in their own right

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Groundworker Level 2 Standard
• Mentor support within the workplace
• Block release sessions at College
• Assessor support throughout apprenticeship

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
