More about the role:

• You’ll own the design and development of large-scale high performance services using technologies such as React, Kafka and MongoDB Atlas. This includes websites, apps, micro-services and event driven
• You’ll design and support services that enhance Sainsbury’s capabilities
• You’ll be part of a collaborative team
• You’ll work on all parts of the stack
• You’ll work in an development environment
• Mentor and develop others around you
• Work with product owners to understand business/product requirements
• Share knowledge with the wider engineering community

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge of Javascript, MongoDB Atlas, and Kafka
• Distributed version control systems such as Git
• Experience with pipelines
• Understanding of TDD and BDD
• Reactjs Knowledge
• Azure cloud usage
• Github Actions
• Kubernetes
• .Net 6 / C#

The ideal candidate will also have:

Experience with one or more of the following-

• Docker
• Confluent Kafka
• SASS
• Jest
• Cypress
• Understanding of /scrum
