Assistant Broiler Farm Manager required

An opportunity has arisen for an assistant Farm manager on a modern Broiler farm that is undergoing a major re-investment programme in Soham,Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will work with an experienced manager and share the day to day responsibilities of a modern broiler farm growing for a small independent processor.

The role will require the applicant capable of managing the stock to a high welfare standard and be capable of managing the responsibility of the farm when the manager is on annual leave or rest day.

Experience with stock is preferred with training to NVQ 2 or 3 level, but training can be provided for the successful candidate,but more importantly enthusiasm is essential for working in a small team on the farm that will include weekend work and occasionally some unsociable hours that comes with working with livestock
