Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Client and Project Info:

My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor to complete a 14 to 18 month contract, to supervise there commercial project.

Mechanical Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Reporting to and working with the Project Manager.
• Supervising and undertaking all Mechanical works.
• Supervising and managing mechanical sub-contractors.
• Assess the quality of work that the client’s Labour and its sub-contractors are delivering.
• To assist the quality manager with all QA sign offs.
• Dealing with any technical issues that may arise.
• Making sure that safe working practices are always maintained.
• Attending everyday meetings with the management and other trades.
• Delivering toolbox talks.
• Arranging inductions.
• To manage the productivity and push the project towards the completion date.

Mechanical Supervisor Requirements:

• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Previous experience industrial and commercial building service.
• Mechanical trade or Engineering qualification.
• 5 years’ experience working for Mechanical Contractors
• Experience in commercial projects.
