Role Overview & Responsibilities

It is home to 9 residents with arrange of learning difficulties who need help and support with their daily lives, this includes activities, holidays and accessing the community so they can a happy and fulfilled life. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can offer skills and support to help the residents achieve all they can, if you believe you have something to offer and love a challenge, then apply to come and join our team

Summary:

• To work as a member of a team in the provision of a safe, caring, quality environment for residents.
• Enhancing residents lives. promoting their personal growth and development and respecting at all times their dignity, individual rights and choices.
• Fast learner and forward thinker who can come into an established care home and make a difference.

Main Duties:

• Participate as a member of a team providing for the overall needs of the residents.
• To organise, interact and participate with residents, encouraging and promoting self- help activities, including domestic tasks, personal tasks and the use of local facilities.
• Assist in all aspects of care of the residents.
• Participate in training programs and periodic appraisals.
• Have attained or be working toward/willing to work toward NVQ level 3 / QCF level 3.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 36 per week

Salary: £10.42-£10.62 per hour

Shift:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Nottingham, NG2 7JX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
