Role Overview & Responsibilities

Roman Originals are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their rapidly expanding company. A family run company based in Erdington, Birmingham your duties will include the following:

• Picking orders using scanning equipment to ensure total accuracy.
• Packing orders using the correct packaging material, scanning orders in preparation for despatch.
• Working to achievable targets based on productivity and quality.
• In some areas, you may be responsible for replenishment of stock to ensure stock is always available.
• Ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met at all times.
• Undertaking cross training in all departments where required.
• Completing all warehouse tasks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Preferred Skills
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative is desired
• Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
• Aware of health and safety
• Personal Attributes
• Confident and willing to work
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexible in regards to working hours as shift work is required

You will need to be fully flexible to work any 5 days out of 7 and you can apply for Dayshifts which are 08:00 to 16:30 or Evening shifts which are 16:30 to 01:00.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift
