Accounts Payable Specialist

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Roberts Market is a family owned business located in beautiful Woodside (near Redwood City). We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk.

Responsibilities:

· Review all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment

· Code, enter, and post a high volume of invoices while maintaining an excellent level of accuracy

· Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve issues in a timely manner

· Participate in month-end closing tasks, which may include accounts payable accruals and account reconciliations

· Assist with other accounting tasks

· Light phones

· May have to count cash occasionally and prepare daily deposit

Requirements:

· 6 a.m. - 3 p.m., five days per week (must be flexible)

· Enjoys work that requires attention to detail

· Responsible, reliable, hard working, team player

· Accounts Payable experience required

· Background in general accounting and business a plus
