Site Supervisor

Role Overview & Responsibilities

I am looking for a Senior site supervisor for a project in South Wales (CF44) . The project will be running for approximately 3 years working on building reinforced concrete bridges and precast planks and parapets. Candidates must have experience with bridges and formworks systems, a great eye for detail and the ability to organise the workforce as he/she will be working closely with the site managers team.

Rates/salary are negotiable depending on experience and if accommodation is required. The candidate can decide their preferred payment method (day rate/PAYE/CIS)

Site Supervisor duties brief:

1. PPE Requirements, Site Rules, Start times/Finish Times, Site set-up correct from the outset.

2. Appoint your site team, and ensure they all understand their duties.

3. Ensure all operatives are following the RAMS on site, and they are given the correct equipment to carry out their duties safely.

4. Weekly Checks & Returns as detailed in our Policies and procedures

5. Quality Control, ITP’s, Compliant with Site specifications, Pre-pour/post-pour checks sheets

6. Be Happy in Your Work / and get along with others

7. Lifting operations – Submit TVC standard schedule of lifts to Main contractors, ensure all TVC lifting equipment is safe and certified to use. Appoint lifting team for the site

8. Programme & Planning – Review contract programme and resource allowances to construct.

9. Produce weekly progress reports, and fortnightly look ahead for the site black hats.

10. Report Any Near misses, NCR’s etc so they can be reviewed and a plan implemented to prevent them happening on other sites & help us identify trends.
