General Farm and Poultry Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a general farm and poultry worker to include regular weekend work across our 2 Broiler Farms.

Your role will include

• Working inside the poultry sheds completing the day to day tasks
• Looking after bird welfare
• General farm duties such as ground maintenance including use of equipment

The applicant must have a driving licence.

Intermediate level of numeracy and literacy.

Previous experience of working in an agriculture environment or similar position ideally.

Poultry welfare certificate / NVQ Level 2 in livestock production is desirable, but full training will be given.

Hours will be flexible but usually 8 - 4 and also on occasions evening work.

Salary: £10.50-£12.50 per hour
