Product Developer - Footwear

Role Overview & Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a product developer assistant to join a premium footwear retailer on a temporary basis for 2 days per week. Whilst the brand is based in Central London, they are well recognised for their quality accessories.

This is a temporary role and will require the perfect candidate to be immediately available.

The role:

• Develop a range of footwear across leather and canvas styles inline with critical path and price targets
• Ensure the vision of the shoe designer is clearly communicated in products
• Source manufacturers fit for product category and price range where needed
• Manage technical development of the project from design concept through to production-ready hand-off, ensuring both fit and technical engineering meet or exceed expectations

The candidate:

• Will have Supplier and manufacturer relationships across multi product footwear in the EU and far east
• Long standing Footwear design / development experience with technical understanding
• Be resilient, dedicated, and have strong organisational skills.
• Be a confident, team orientated individual
