Day or Swing/Night Shift CNC Journeyman Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for programming, set-up, and operating CNC Lathes.
• Must be able to program utilizing SURFCAM and MasterCam programming software.
• Must be able to set-up and machine from solid models, blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions.
• Must have experience with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials such as SST, Titanium, and Plastics.

Basic Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience in programming, set up and operation of CNC Lathes.

• Experience in shop math, tooling technology, blueprint reading and measurement of parts.
• Experience using precision measuring devices in a shop floor environment. (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
• Proven capabilities to provide continuous improvement suggestions.

Additional Requirements:Must be available to work overtime, as necessary. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful resident of the U.S.
