Trainee Customer Delivery Drivers for John Lewis & Partners

Role Overview & Responsibilities

John Lewis & Partners and Recruitment Solutions are offering an excellent opportunity for successful individuals to become Customer Delivery Trainee Drivers. They will represent the brand delivering, assembling, and installing a wide range of high-quality home furnishings, electrical products, and sports equipment around the country to their valued customers.

This is an exciting opportunity trained as a 7.5 Ton Driver with all the necessary training to be paid for by John Lewis & Partners.

Trainee Customer Delivery Drivers work on a rota basis of 4 out of 6 days Mondays to Saturdays. This means you will enjoy 3 days off a week. There is also the opportunity for overtime and additional hours. You will be working as part of a 2-person crew with a Drivers Mate to help deliver the products.

Successful candidates will receive £10.90 per hour, and this will be paid on a weekly basis.

Alongside excellent rates of pay, as a Partner in the John Lewis Partnership you will receive discounts on John Lewis and Partnership and Waitrose & Partners items. You will also receive discounted cinema tickets and discount to restaurants and bars.

For these roles the required qualifications are:

For insurance purposes you must be over 18 years old

You must have a valid Driving License with no more than 6 points (speeding related only)

· Excellent verbal communications skills both in person and face to face

John Lewis Partnership also offer a defined contribution pension scheme and Life Assurance.

You will also receive 4.5 weeks paid holiday a year which will increase with length of service.
