Role Overview & Responsibilities

Manifest Church in Manchester is seeking a youth minister on a part-time basis.

We are seeking someone with a passion for young people and the aptitude to teach & mentor the word of God. We follow the AWANA curriculum for the entire children's ministry; the youth curriculum is called Trek and Journey.

· We are looking for someone who has a passion for reaching young people who are currently outside the church, and for seeing our own young people and their families following Christ together.

· You will oversee our current youth ministry and have the opportunity to develop and enhance it,

· You will be involved in teaching, training and outreach, working with the HoDs and Parish Pastor to ensure that young people are won for God.

· Flexible working hours, mainly on Sundays, and a couple of hours during the week. Work flexibility can be discussed further.

· You must have a natural flair and love for young people (age 13-19 years old), be able to communicate at their level and provide mentoring and counselling services to young people and their parents.

· Organize youth events or retreats to encourage community building, teach Sunday school and other educational programs, and communicate with church staff about youth needs.

· Most importantly possess a passion to lead the youth of our church and community into being good ambassadors of Christ and the church in the society
