Global Google Delivery Manager
Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Global Google Delivery Manager will be part of the Global Google Technical Team and will have responsibility for providing end-to-end product management activities for the Global Google Team.
The Delivery Manager will be responsible for enabling business value in the Google portfolio of applications. This includes working with other territories in the network, internal stakeholders, and service management teams. The Delivery Manager will collaborate with the various programme/project resources to facilitate the ongoing enhancement and roadmap of Google services.
The primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Oversee and initiate strategic global, Google related development / technology projects
Stakeholder management, and managing teams.
Guide and direct a technical team through development activities.
Facilitate, and present project updates to large audiences / senior leadership.
Establish and manage projects and ultimately accountable for all project delivery–waterfall and agile
Scope and schedule management
Financial tracking
Status reporting
Stakeholder management
Communication and escalation plan – standing meetings, status reporting, escalations
Risk and issue management - work across the Technology organisation to communicate and facilitate the resolution of issues
Responsible for transition to support to operations
