Role Overview & Responsibilities

Proclinical are recruiting an IR/Communications Manager for a biotech corporation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in London.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle the planning and implementation of an IR tactic to form solid investor-base, which involves roadshows, roundtables and any other events.
  • Partake in the development as well as own the corporate narrative and key messages, guaranteeing the dissemination of a constant story through various channels.
  • Serve as a representative for the company on an external basis as well as form solid relationships with analysts, shareholders, investors, journalists, corporate broker, advisors and lawyers.
  • Uphold the corporate website and supervise multimedia content production.
  • Form, own and handle our social media method and channels.
  • Offer informative capital market intelligence and supervise market reactions and audience engagement following news flow events.
  • Monitor any IR/PR and branding/marketing assistance, which involves agency/tool selection and management.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Comprehend and appreciate capital markets and the biotech division.
  • Work experience in a public company and preferably within life science or healthcare.
  • Solid network within the sector's buyside and sell-side communities and media.
  • Capable of engaging with both institutional and retail investors.
  • Familiarity working efficiently and reliably with board and leadership teams.
  • A 'can-do' attitude with the ability to resolve issues and adapt to change.
  • A creative individual with the ability to think tactically and recognise prospects to maximise impact out of content and messaging points.
  • Keen to learn.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • A motivated individual with the ability to be organised.
  • Capable of working on various tasks simultaneously all while under pressure.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • Graphics savvy and able to create sophisticated slides/diagrams.
  • Works well in a team.
  • Not afraid of taking on new challenges under minimal supervision.
