Food Packer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our Walsall based client is looking to hire a number of food packers / quality assurance operatives

The role will involve:

• Handling raw meat products
• Working within a cold store environment
• Packing the products in a neat and presentable manner
• Working on the line
• It will involve standing for long periods and some physical lifting

Must have experienced working in a chilled food packing environment

The role will initially be food packing before moving onto quality assurance which will come with a pay increase.

Hours are 6.30am - 2pm Monday to Friday

(work until 5pm available in peak periods)

These are long term roles for the right candidates

Salary: £9.50 - £10.42 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks
