General Farm/Poultry Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a General Farm/Poultry Worker to join our team. The position will be working on a shift rotation system. Previous poultry experience is not essential, as full training will be given, although having previous poultry or farm work experience would be advantageous.

Duties Include:

• Providing high animal and bird welfare
• Egg collection and packing
• Basic maintenance
• General farm work
• Moving pallets with pallet truck or fork lift
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Maintaining safe working practices & high level of site and personal biosecurity standards

Successful candidate:

• Reliable, responsible and hardworking
• Be hands on and not afraid of hard work
• Confident around hens
• Able to work alone as well as in a team
• Willing to learn with a can-do attitude
• Has an interest in providing high level of care and welfare to the hens

Own transport is essential.

Must not have any avian contact at home.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

Salary: £6.83-£10.00 per hour

Initial remote video interview. All staff are testing twice per week. Sanitizers and masks available at entry.
