Role Overview & Responsibilities

A mechanical engineer that has wealth of knowledge and experience to work on industrial diesel generators ranging from 10kva to 1500kva.

  • full time/part-time
  • flexible hours
  • based in Preston, Lancashire
  • £35,000 annual salary

Your role will include:

  • Testing the generator machines
  • Any repairs or maintenance to be carried out

Must be experienced in generator repairs and maintenance

For nearly 20 years Power Generators have been supplying diesel generators for standby operations, emergency backup power and prime power operations.

With a large stock of diesel generators ranging from 6 to 500kVA, we specialise in this field and stock generators of medium to high power silenced and weatherproof generator systems.

Located in the centre of the UK, our premises in Preston Lancashire accommodate our head office, storage & fabrication facility, warehouse and test area.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Flexitime
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus
  • Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Preston, PR1 5XR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
