About PneumoWave:
Based in central Scotland within easy reach of both Glasgow and Edinburgh, PneumoWave is a Digital Health company developing highly innovative monitoring solutions. PneumoWaveβs technology is designed to detect and alert to life-threatening events, reducing preventable deaths from respiratory illness.
Following significant investment, we are seeking an Office Assistant for our main office at Eurocentral. This role may be suitable for part-time working but requires a minimum of 3 days per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain effective general office practices.
- Office facility management, including contract for utilities, general suppliers and support services, and liaison with business park management.
- General Health & safety admin
- Support planning and booking for travel.
- Tracking and organising staff training and team development activities.
- Support the induction / onboarding process for new staff.
- Support purchasing, shipping and receiving of products and materials.
- Manage the visitor experience for customers, investors, board members, auditors and interview candidates.
- General Admin support for all departments as required
- Other business management support, depending on business needs and experience (training will be provided where required).
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 2 years relevant experience in office administration with teams of 10 or more people
- General H&S and HR awareness
- Knowledge of GDPR.
Skills:
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal direction
- Organised and efficient in work practices
- Good business and commercial awareness.
- Computer literacy and comfortable working with multiple software systems.
- Use of basic accounting / book-keeping software.
- Contract management and negotiation.
Desirable but not essential
- Bookkeeping
- IT support experience.
This is a key role at PneumoWave requiring a dynamic, efficient, detail oriented, problem-solving approach. You will be encouraged and supported in continuously developing your range of skills.
