Role Overview & Responsibilities

Overview: As a café staff member you will be constantly interacting with customers and other staff members including Management. Your main aim is to ensure that all products are available for purchase and that they are served in a presentable manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operation of the till as and when required during your shift.

2. General cleaning duties within the kitchen and seating areas.

3. Ensure that tables are cleared, wiped down and bins emptied when required.

4. Prepare hot food as and when required.

5. Be polite and courteous at all times to the general public.

6. Be able to deal with minor customer complaints or concerns in a calm and collective manner.

7. You may also be asked to operate another food or drink outlet within the facility at Ice hockey or other events.

8. You will assist with the safe evacuation of the café in the event of an emergency evacuation.

9. You will make sure that you attend your shift at all times in a well presented manner and wear the company uniform (if issued) while on duty.

10.You must attend all staff training session scheduled

11.You will help assist with any specific café daily/weekly check sheets.

There may be times when you are required to undertake duties and responsibilities within other departments to assist in the smooth running of the operation.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Pay: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
