Role Overview & Responsibilities

Peveril Decorators are a Derby based firm with national coverage. Formed in 1982 we handle all types of painting and decorating, including industrial, plant, commercial, retail and leisure projects.

We are an approved agent for a wide range of specialist coatings, including fire protective intumescent coatings, hygienic coatings, chemical resistant coatings, floor preparation and floor painting.

Peveril Decorators is part of the Bowmer + Kirkland Group, which is one of the UK’s most successful, privately-owned construction, engineering and development groups with headquarters in Derbyshire.

Due to our continued expansion we have exciting opportunities for apprentices in Painting & Decorating.

The Role

Whilst working for us as part of your apprenticeship you will complete a Level 2 Apprenticeship studying part time at college.

You will need a minimum of GCSE grade 3 or above in English and Maths and you will be required to undertake a basic skills test in literacy and numeracy at the College.

The post is suitable for a school leaver and applicants should have the desire to work in the Painting and Decorating Industry combined with an eagerness to progress and an enthusiasm to learn, as a career within Peveril Decorators will be varied and challenging.
