Sales Assistant

Engaging with customers throughout the day, offering them a range of services and solutions to meet their needs. Building long term and useful relationships with our customer community, you are an integral part of the running of a store.

Key responsibilities:

• Serving customers and discussing various products whilst determining the customer’s needs
• Completing all transactional paperwork (paper and electronic)
• Building valuable and long term relationships with customers
• Processing Pawnbroking Loans
• Selling/buying Foreign Currency
• Retail Jewellery Sales
• Western Union Transactions
• Buying & Negotiating Gold & Silver
• Cashing Third Party Cheques
• Generating New Business
• Social Media Marketing/ecommerce

Skills required:

• Customer service/retail sales experience
• Good understanding of Maths
• Cross Selling Skills
• Able to use own initiative
• People Skills

• Personable and approachable

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 28 per week

Salary: £6.83-£9.50 per hour
