Childrens Activity Leader

£91 - £115 a day

Free childcare available at one of our camps!

Monday - Friday role in the holidays (9.5 hours a day)

Oxford Active Ltd are recruiting for a Childrens Activity Leader to work at our Quinton House School, Upton Hall, Upton, Northampton NN5 4UX camp site during the school holidays (Easter, May, Summer and October half term).

Oxford Active Ltd has been running successful clubs for over 15 years and we’ve been working with families for almost 20 years, introducing children to new activities whilst bringing peace of mind to parents.

Active Camps shift times run from 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays).

The ideal candidate will ideally have a childcare qualification, one years' experience of working or volunteering with children in a play or sports environment and Paediatric First Aid. You must have a good understanding of safeguarding children and have the ability to communicate at all levels, particularly with children.

All staff have to pass strict safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS and referencing.

Your day at Oxford Active could look like;

• Working as part of a team to provide safe, creative, appropriate play opportunities for children aged 3 – 14 years. Activities can include sports and games, arts and crafts, drama, dance, cooking.
• Working as part of a team to devise and plan new activities that will engage and challenge children attending the clubs
• Keeping children safe and minimising risks in the play environment
• Being responsible for tidying rooms and looking after play equipment each day
