Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for dedicated, passionate Support Workers to join our team.

Our Support Workers support individuals with learning disabilities with all aspects of daily living, from personal care to supporting them in leisure, education and social activities.

Our Support Workers enable our customers to express their rights, choices and aspirations whilst ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Outlook Care's policies, procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.

Relevant experience is desirable but not essential and applications are welcomed from individuals with transferable skills along with the ability to work flexibility on a shift rota basis. You will need to be a great team player, motivated, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a good standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills, as well as good basic IT skills.

Full and part time opportunities available. You must be able to work flexibly, covering a mixture of shifts during the week, weekends, bank holidays. Additional sleep in cover is also required. You will receive an hourly rate of Β£10.32, a range of benefits and the chance to work alongside a positive and motivated team.

We have opportunities at both our Romford and Harold Wood Services. Our Romford service is home to 19 customers and our Harold Wood service has 12 customers. The services endorse a homely atmosphere for customers who have severe learning and require support with all aspects of their daily living. The services offers good public transport links and are close to local amenities and shops.
