General Year 2 Teaching Assistant | Kensal Green | ASAP Start

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant passionate about having a positive impact on children's development?

We are liaising with a fantastic client school in the heart of Brent - Kensal Green is a vibrant and diverse neighbourhood in north-west London, with excellent transport links to the city centre. It is home to a variety of cultural attractions, green spaces and independent businesses. The school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their KS1 team and work alongside the class teacher in a Year 2 classroom to support the students.

The successful Year 2 Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working alongside the classroom teacher to manage behaviour, supervise playtime, promote learning through play, keep the classroom organised and build positive rapports with the children and staff. As well as this, you will need to effectively lead reading and phonics interventions and work 1:1 with children with various Special Educational Needs.

**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm)**

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a dynamic and patient approach to teaching
• Encourage and engage children with KS1 curriculum
• Have the ability to work in a team but also take initiative when needed
• Have excellent time management and attendance
• Be Experienced working in KS1
• Hold a minimum 2:2 degree or Level 3 qualification
• Have a can-do attitude and passion for education

Salary: £75.00-£90.00 per hour
