Role Overview & Responsibilities

Orchard Clothing is a well-respected and growing family run business. We are a leading independent supplier of school wear, workwear and personalised garments. Our Head Office is based in Redditch, Worcestershire but we distribute nationwide.

The Role

Due to our continued growth, we have several positions for Embroidery Production Assistants to join our busy in-house embroidery and print team.

We are offering Part-Time roles either temporary or temp-to-perm for the right people.

Key Responsibilities

As an Embroidery Production Assistant, you would learn the whole embroidery and print process which includes preparing the garment for embroidery or print, setting up the embroidery and printing machines and packaging the finished garments ready for despatch

You would also assist in maintaining the machines and keeping the embroidery department clean and tidy

The role involves using machines and equipment on workstations at varying heights and carrying boxes of stock to and from the warehouse so a good level of fitness is required

You

Whilst previous experience in embroidery or printing is preferred we will also consider applicants who can demonstrate an artistic talent and who have a creative flair. You must be

• Willing to learn and develop new skills
• Hard-working and energetic
• A fantastic communicator - you will need fluent written and spoken English
• Have great attention to detail
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Within reasonable commutable distance of Redditch

WORKING HOURS

We have several shifts available including day time and evening. Please note all training will be carried out during the daytime

PAY

Pay will be dependent on age and experience, but will meet the National Minimum Wage.
