What it takes to join our team:

• Proficiency with all manner of hand tools and mechanical fasteners.

• Tower Certification: Advanced Climber, Tower Rescue, RF Awareness and Rooftop Safety and Access certification is a plus, otherwise training is provided.

• Comfortable working at elevation on towers and rooftops

• 1-2 years of tower climbing and rigging experience required

• Must be experienced in all aspects of line and antenna system installation, replacement and maintenance i.e. coax, jumpers, TMA’s, connectors, weatherproofing, etc.

• Clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test and background check

• Strong analytic and creative problem solving abilities required

• Highly organized and can maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and equipment in their assigned vehicle

• Reliable and predictable attendance

• Must have a valid drivers license

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb up to 350m, but most heights are between 15m to 75m.

• Rigging – must be able to attach ropes, slings, and pulleys to tower and lift loads up to 1500lbs with the hoist/wenches.

• Mounting equipment on the tower – Must be able to mount dishes, radios and other tower equipment while suspended in a climbing harness.
