Role Overview & Responsibilities

Oddballs is a fast-growing ecommerce business selling underwear, beachwear and accessories while raising awareness for various charities.

The business was inspired by rugby and a general passion for sports. Its fast-paced growth has led to impressive partnerships with leading UK / international sports teams.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Finance team for the position of Accounts Assistant.

This role is integral to the financial management and commercial reporting of the Oddballs group. The role is an opportunity for a successful candidate to develop their career as the business has ambitious growth plans in both the UK and internationally.

Responsibility for all day to day processes such as bank reconciliations, supplier payments and account system maintenance, the role also offers a varied workflow withinvarious areas of commercial analysis such as sales and pricing reporting.

Key role responsibilities:

· Bank reconciliations via the Xero accounting platform

· Maintaining bank accounts ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time

· Reconciliation of sales from the Shopify platform

· Ensuring Buy Now Pay Later payment platforms are up to date in pay outs

· Sales reporting on volume, price etc. for commercial analysis

· Working with Purchasing on annual buying profiles using SKU sales history

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:

· Part or full AAT qualification (although not essential)

· Self-starter with the ability of learn quickly

· Experience of Xero accounting system would be ideal (although not essential)

· Proficient in Microsoft office, in particular Excel

· Experience in extracting data for analysis from the Shopify platform (although not essential)

· High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

· Excellent analytical, organisational and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
