Role Overview & Responsibilities

Experienced full time bookkeeper required for small firm of Chartered Accountants in E11. This post entails bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns for various clients in varying sectors.

Ideally you would be an efficient bookkeeper with a good all round knowledge of VAT, preferably with previous practice experience, to join and be a part of our small friendly team.

Our ideal candidate will be either AAT qualified or finalist and should have some experience working in a practice and be highly IT literate with excellent command of Excel and Microsoft office.

Your responsibilities are varied and will include the following:

• Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
• Processing monthly payroll
• Preparing VAT returns, MTD
• Preparing other industry specific returns such as CIS 300
• Monitoring bank reconciliations and ensuring postings are timely and correct
• Preparing other industry specific returns such as CIS 300

Required language:

Bulgarian will be an advantage;

A salary of £24,000 - £26,000 per annum is offered to the successful applicant depending on the experience. Only those applicants who have been short listed will be replied to.
