Head of Community / Asia
Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Nym team is a world-class mix of privacy experts, coders, and thinkers spread all over the world. We believe that user privacy underpins democratic freedoms in a networked world, and weβre proud to help roll back the surveillance society.
We are now looking for a Mandarin-speaking Head of Community Asia based in a UTC +8 country to work with our fantastic Asian Community Managers and Core Marketing team.
What you will be building
- Establish, grow, and manage Nym communities (WeChat, Telegram, Discord, Twitter, Kakao, and more) in Asia
- Develop strategies to expand and increase community engagement
- Plan and execute community events & campaigns
- Collect and analyse user feedback from the community and provide it to the team
- Host AMA sessions on community channels
- Translate content
- Engage with local KOLs & PR & Media & local Web3 communities and guilds
- Attend local events, conferences and organise meetups
- Support business development and partnerships
- Develop and lead community engagement programs such as educational campaigns, university collaborations, and more
- Monitor and moderate community activities to ensure proper community standards
- Identify and address any issues or conflicts within the community
What you bring to the team
- Minimum 4 years experience in the Web3 space in a community position.
- Marketing degree
- Experience managing a Web3 community in the past
- Well organized & self-started
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English
- Passionate about privacy and very knowledgeable about the Web3 space
- Strong network with Web3 KOLs and partners in Asia
