Role Overview & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Undertake reception duties, including answering the telephone, face to face enquiries, receiving visitors, dealing with student enquiries and managing the school emails
Provide administrative support for the Academy
Undertake assistance with Bromcom data input tasks ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times. Including admissions, detentions, exclusions, updating student information
Undertake daily administration of student’s attendance recording for lateness following attendance protocols to establish reasons for absences
Undertake other general administrative procedures as required by the Office Manager including reprographics support for staff
Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g. word, excel, databases, spread sheets, Internet)
Maintain stationery stock and supplies for the team
Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others
Support with the booking system for meeting requests, student interviews and tours
Assist with room bookings for internal and external events including providing refreshments and setting up relevant rooms
Assist with uniform sales and maintaining stock levels
Must be able to support the admin function including;
- Supporting of school key events such as reward evenings and various parent/student events
supporting with the enrolment process and induction /transition
supporting with the maintaining, issuing and tracking of uniform
- Support with the booking of external enrichment providers to support extra-curricular activity
