Cold Store Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are an importer of seafood and distribute to the South of England using our own vehicles and nationally via 3rd party transport. We have been established for 40 years and are continuing to expand, therefore, require additional cold store operatives.

The main duties include picking orders, stock rotation, loading and unloading trucks and containers. Applicants must be fit and healthy as the job is physically and manually demanding. Own transport is required, unless in walking distance of the village outskirts.

Some forklift experience would be an advantage, however, training can be provided. If you are someone who is happy to get stuck in, then we would love to hear from you. All we ask for in return is commitment, reliability, accuracy and job satisfaction. Working hours 8-5, M-F.

Permanent position available after initial trial period. 20 days paid holiday plus all bank holidays. Staff discount scheme.
