Role Overview & Responsibilities
North Yorkshire Together is excited to be recruiting three full-time Youth Mentors to shape and deliver an ambitious new secondary schools programme across Scarborough and Whitby.
We're looking for committed, experienced Youth Mentors who will undertake significant one-to-one work, as well as group facilitation, with a specific cohort of young people over 2.5 years. This is a brilliant opportunity to support real and positive change to the lives of some of North Yorkshire's most vulnerable young people.
The vast majority of your work will take place in a school in the Scarborough or Whitby area. From a personnel perspective, you will be directly employed by North Yorkshire Youth, however you will engage with team members from across organisations on a daily basis to work cohesively as Team North Yorkshire Together.
Deadline: 9am on Wednesday, 8th March 2023
Interviews: Tuesday,14th March 2023
Annual Salary: £26,110 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some evening and weekend work required (TOIL is given)
Employment type: Fixed term until 31st August 2025
