North South Cafe Bar

North South is a neighbourhood cafe bar near Bootham bar, where the focus is on quality food and drinks, mixed with friendly and relaxed service.

During the day, we serve a range of breakfast dishes and sandwiches, alongside our own, personally selected blend of coffee. By night we transform into a bar and restaurant, serving a hand selected, curated list of charcuterie and cheeses, with a list of classic and modern cocktails, excellent wines and over 50 beers!

We are looking to take on a part time team member, who is equally at home table serving and mingling with customers, as they are shaking up cocktails behind the bar, or whipping up a sandwich in the kitchen!

We’d really like to find someone with a keen interest in craft beers, cocktails, cheese/meat, wine or coffee and have worked in a similar environment before. You don’t have to tick all of these boxes - a mixture of people in our team would be even better!

Staff will be responsible for making and delivering our food and drinks. You’ll get full initial and ongoing training on our small, but interesting menus which change seasonally. This means plenty of tasters!

Salary: £9.50-£10.42 per hour
