As part of our continued growth, we are now looking for a Principal Cloud Architect - FSI.

The role will involve leading technical work within the FSI space working with some of the worlds largest banks, insurance companies etc. We're looking for someone who can articulate the problems FSI clients can face when implementing cloud and come up with solutions to solve such issues. You will work very closely with our Account CTO for FSI and be a bridge from the customer into the engineering/architect team here at Nordcloud.


Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture Design and/or Cloud Architectural Patterns for Development within the FSI space
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one of the following platforms: AWS or Azure
  • Strong experience working within the FSI industry and the challenges the industry can face around regulations and compliance
  • Solid engineering/technical background/hands-on experience with conceptualising, strategising, and architecting cloud solutions
  • Previous experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, as well as exposure to different architecture models
  • Active customer consultant and clear communication skills
