Care Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Support to include:
Personal care; light physiotherapy and exercise; companionship; moving and handling (ceiling hoist and return stand); light shopping and housework (ie cleaning wet room after use and making clients bed); catheter (emptying and night bag only) and stoma care; promoting independence; and enabling client to access the community.
Client enjoys coffee outings, tidying the garden, trips to town, lunch out, visiting the supermarkets, walking the dog, breaks away, boardgames and takeaways in garden log cabin/bar, sport and holidays. 1-1 mainly, 2-1 required for some moving and handling. Available days: Monday 0800-1200; Sunday 1030-1200. Any evenings for 1.5 hours between 1900-2200 and Bank hours.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
