NJS136116 - IT Support Engineer (Aberdeen)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

NHS Grampian are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our Desktop Support team on a temporary basis to cover a secondment. This contract will be for an initial 12 months which will be under review.

This role is a full-time position based at Foresterhill Health Campus, Aberdeen but will involve travel around NHS Grampian.

Applicants must have extensive, relevant knowledge and experience in an IT Desktop Support / IT Rollout discipline. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10/11) and applications such as Microsoft Office, Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft terminal services and Citrix is essential.

You must be enthusiastic, have good communication and be passionate about delivering great ICT Services through first class customer service and communication skills. Good time management, problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure when working to tight deadlines is required.

Candidates must be educated to HND\Degree level and\or have relevant years of experience in an IT Desktop support role.

The successful applicant’s will be required to lift and move PC equipment on a regular basis. A full UK driving license is essential for the post.
