Role Overview & Responsibilities

We welcome applications for a Healthcare Support Worker within the outpatient department at Victoria Hospital.

The outpatient department houses a huge diversity of services across multiple specialities.

We require you to have excellent communication skills, good IT skills, are flexible and adaptable, can work well within a team whilst using your own initiative and posses good customer service and problem solving skills. You will be expected to carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care and the smooth running of the clinical services, in addition to supporting registered nurses under supervision. There is an opportunity to participate and develop new skills after a period of supported learning.

This is a 26 hour post; all shift patterns will be to meet the needs of the service. This post is based in the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy; however you must be committed to provide flexibility to work across both acute sites.
