Role Overview & Responsibilities

1.WHO ARE WE?

MusAbility Ltd is an award winning, independent company providing music therapy services across the North-West of England and North Wales. MusAbility music therapists work in the full range of healthcare settings as well as community environments such as day centres, hospitals, schools and people’s own homes. We provide specific standard, neurologic and MATADOC assessments, as well as ongoing music therapy and Neurologic music therapy sessions.

2. WHO IS THE THERAPY FOR?

This is an exciting 2 day Maternity Cover post using both Neurologic and Standard music therapy techniques (qualifications required for each). The available posts are 1 day in a school in Liverpool (Maternity Cover from June) and 1 day in a Neurorehabilitation facility in Liverpool (Maternity Cover from June). We have a waiting list for multiple other assessments and roles across the Liverpool and Manchester area and this position may be expanded. This role contains much job variety and the opportunity to work with an award-winning music therapy organisation! MusAbility require a music therapist to work in multiple settings, including standard music therapy clients of all ages, and Neurologic music therapy clients including assessments and ongoing sessions (training will be provided for SMT and NMT assessments!)

Please do not apply if you do not have formal Music Therapy MSc or MA (or equivalent) qualifications.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 15 per week

Salary: £200.00-£300.00 per day
