Full Job Description

Position: Web an UI Designer

Salary: Up to £50,000 per year

Location: Crawley, RH11 – Essential that this is commutable

Hours: Full Time Position: Monday – Friday: 09:00 – 17:00

Part Time/Flexible Hours – To be agreed

NO WEEKENDS

Holidays: 28 Days per annum (Includes bank holidays)

What you need:

• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (Figma or Adobe etc)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software
• If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications

What you will be responsible for:

• Gathering user requirements and analysing their continual feedback, designing graphic elements and building navigation components.
• Create visually stunning and intuitive interfaces for users of our website and application.
• Great attention to detail and self-critical to produce the highest quality of work.
• Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how our App & Sites function and look
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images etc.
• Excellent communication skills – you’ll be working with the MD as well as developers so must be able to translate ideas to design and then explain the design & intended interaction to developers. You may also be required to communicate with our clients from time to time to understand their ongoing needs.
• Identify and troubleshoot US problems (e.g. responsiveness)

This role could also be a job share between two people who require part time hours, we are always open to flexibility for the right person.

We will also consider someone without the required experience who has a strong interest in Web and UI design and eager to learn. We are committed to ensuring all of our staff are supported and are given opportunities to progress and grow with the company.
