Drivers Mate

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We require a driver’s mate at our Rhostyllen depot as soon as possible to work as part of a two man team.
You will travel with the driver of a LGV around the Wrexham area helping to load and unload deliveries. There is no driving involved.

You will help to safely load and unload the vehicle, taking account of the load and ensuring that the items are accessible at the point of delivery. Instruction will be given.

You might be delivering to customers some days, and others it could be to one of our other sites. We may even ask you to help out elsewhere within the depot if needs be.

To join us as a Drivers Mate, experience isn’t needed. More importantly, you’ll be reliable and punctual and able to understand and read English. You’ll also need to be physically fit, able to lift weights of up to 25kg and be able to travel to our Rhostyllen site on time.
Hours are 8am until 4.30pm

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (preferred)
