The Farm Manager at this family farm is retiring next year. He had many years' experience in Agriculture but is now due to retire - which means that there is a fantastic opportunity waiting for you.

You probably want to know what's involved.

If you have worked as an Assistant Farm Manager or Farm Manager on an Arable, fresh produce or root crop operations then you know what this jobs takes. Once you have learnt the business you will step into taking control of the farming operation which as a whole is 3000Ha in North Lincolnshire.

You will sit below the owner of the farm and manage a team of 7 full time staff and 2 more contractors in the harvest. You will be given a good salary and house / truck which is all included. You will work very closely with the owners regarding farm budgets and financial reporting. If you like to make change and have a passion for agriculture and the ability to challenge existing practices and have an innovative approach this could be the ideal position.
