Oakshott House Care Home, is a new purpose-built care home in Stirling, with modern state of the art facilities.

At Oakshott House, we believe that our residents should be assisted to live as full and active a life as possible within a caring and supportive environment. We ensure that resident well-being and happiness is central to all that we do, developing each individual care plan and decision to reflect the needs, wishes and choices of the resident.

We are currently seeking to recruit care assistants for both days and nights with a passion for providing residents with exceptional, kind, individualised care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.

You will receive comprehensive induction training and will be supported in your personal development to achieve your potential, with potential for career progression.

About You

To join our team you will have experience within a care home setting caring for older people.

You will preferably hold an SVQ 2 qualification.

You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.

You will have excellent communication skills and have a desire to work in a participatory manner with residents and relatives to enable them to achieve desired outcomes and goals.

You will have the right to work within the UK.

All job offers are subject to satisfactory references and Disclosure Scotland Scheme Membership (PVG)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From Β£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

Successful candidates must provide a negative LFT or PCR prior to starting, results to be shared with hiring manager.
