Role Overview & Responsibilities

Morar Living's Harbour House is an exciting newly converted 43 bed home situated at the harbour in Musselburgh. It embraces small scale living and has been designed to deliver a luxurious but homely environment .

At Harbour House, we believe that our residents should be assisted to live as full and active a life as possible within a caring and supportive environment. We ensure that resident well-being and happiness is central to all that we do, developing each individual care plan and decision to reflect the needs, wishes and choices of the resident.

We are currently seeking to recruit registered nurses for day/night shift with a passion for providing residents with exceptional, kind, individualised care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.

You will be welcomed into a supportive team which respects and values each member, seeking to develop their knowledge and skills in a positive, inclusive environment. You will receive comprehensive induction training and will be supported in your personal development to achieve your potential, with potential for career progression.

About You

To join us you will be an RN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.

You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.

You will have excellent communication skills and have a desire to work in a participatory manner with residents and relatives to enable them to achieve desired outcomes and goals.

You will have experience and passion in supporting and developing less experienced staff members to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support.

You will work well within the team, leading, guiding, supporting and teaching junior staff members and acting as a role model in delivering care based upon best practice.

You will have experience in motivating and leading the staff team.

You will have the right to work within the UK.
