Role Overview & Responsibilities

Residential Security Officer
Location: Walsall
Rate: £10.50 per hour

Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off. Covering days, nights & weekends. (0700-1900/1900-0700). GUARANTEED HOURS CONTRACT.

We have vacancies available for SIA Licensed Security Officers on a guaranteed hours contract working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.

Essential criteria:

• SIA license holder
• Ability to resolve problems quickly and with integrity
• Strong conflict management skills

Duties to include:

• Access Control to the property
• Regular internal and external patrols, keeping logs and reporting concerns and incidents
• Monitoring CCTV
• Patrolling and securing the area.
• Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
• Communicating effectively with the client.
• Ensure the safety of Staff and Visitors.
• Escorting the residents
• Following procedures for various initiatives including fire presenting, traffic control and accident investigations.
• Guarding valuables in a secure area.
• Liaise with client in respect of Serious incidents.
• Maintaining an incident report record.
• Monitor access points – e.g., main/rear entrances, fire exits, secured ground floor windows
• Respond to all alarm activations
