Feed Mill Operative

This is a great opportunity to be a part of a great team at our Coylton Mill in Ayr.

As Feed Mill Operative you will work in a fast-paced production environment. Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the mill plant, manufacturing products from raw material intake through to the loading of lorries.

What you’ll be doing….

• Operation of mill equipment
• Weighbridge procedures
• Stock control of the raw materials
• To maintain the warehouse and site by making sure it is in a clean and tidy condition

Due to the nature of the products and role, this position will involve regular lifting.

Experience of maintaining machinery and a strong health and safety knowledge is essential for the role. Agricultural knowledge and a telescopic handler licence would be beneficial; however full training will be given.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, has good observational skills and the patience to carry out repetitive tasks coupled with working under pressure.
