Factory Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a reliable Factory Operative with experience in food manufacturing dealing with BRC or SALSA and their in and outs of their processing to join our sausage, saveloy and burger manufacturing company in North London.

The roll:

-Mixing and loading ingredients into the machines.

-Ensure that all food is stored away correctly.

-Pack all finished items off the line into the relevant packaging.

-Able to produce work of high quality.

-Ensuring the factory complies with the BRC and Salsa Regulations.

-Ensuring the factory complies with legal requirements.

-Ensure that all products leaving the site are of the highest quality.

- Contribute to the development of the audit programmer, approach, techniques and reporting standards.

- Effective communication within the Company, to add value, contributing to the Company's objectives.

Skills and Experience:

-Food safety certifications preferred, such as HACCP,ISO22000, BRC or Salsa credentials

- Working knowledge of BRC or Salsa standards and Food Legislation

-Good interpersonal skills – with the ability to build strong and credible cross functional relationships

-Good time management – with the ability to multitask and priorities workload to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
