Quality Engineer

Mitras Automotive (UK) Ltd specialise in compression and reaction injection moulding. We offer a complete range of services from simple mouldings, to class ‘A’ painting. We undertake full system design and assembly of engineered composite components.

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team

The Role

• To assist in the production, maintenance and development of Company Quality Procedures and Systems in line with ISO9001 and IATF6949.
• Undertake compliance audits in accordance with ISO9001 and IATF16949.
• To carry out new product introduction work including initial sample report documentation, Production Part Approval Process documentation and all other areas of the APQP process.
• To be responsible for developing and maintaining Control Plans, calibration & too measurement compliance, along with developing & maintaining process FMEA’s.
• Final inspection audits
• Investigate issues and prepare Corrective Action reports. – PPS, 8D
• Continuous Improvement Problem Solving Activities.
• To be responsible for compiling Reject, Returns and Scrap reports.
• Liaise/visit suppliers and customers where necessary on matters relating to quality.
• Assist with HSE issues - knowledge of 45001/14001 would be an advantage.

· Excellent analysis/critical thinking/problem-solving skills;

· Sound judgment and decision making.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities;

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
