Veterinary Patient Care Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a small animal, Independent Veterinary practice located in Midsomer Norton.

We are looking to expand our team and have a position available for a veterinary patient care assistant.

Duties will include (but not limited to)

• Patient handling
• Cleaning of surgical instruments
• Packing surgical kits
• Overseeing the washing and drying of patient bedding
• Cleaning kennels
• Cleaning reception
• Cleaning our clinical areas, Prep, Theatre etc
• Re stocking consumables
• Cleaning consultations rooms
• Assisting with reception duties
• Assisting with stock ordering and stock control
• Overseeing the presentation of the external premises
• Leading our passion and drive for recycling and sustainability

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £18,964.00 per year
