About Our Client

Our client is an expanding Furniture distribution business who are currently looking for a Stock Controller based at their central warehouse in Bolton.

Job Description

• Maintaining Stock levels for Branches and Central Warehouse
• Forecasting stock for order planning
• Inventory planning orders with Suppliers in line with forecast
• Maintenance of SAP information and parameters
• Daily replenishment of Branch requirements
• Creating codes and processing special orders
• Posting stock to the SAP system
• Liaise with Suppliers, Branches and Central Warehouse
• Supporting Branches and Warehouse Stock takes and adjusting system levels
• Chasing Supplier orders, maintaining system purchase orders and dates
• Provide 'early warning' system to the Stock Control department of potential shortfalls in stock
• Analysis of customer sales and stock levels
• Working closely with other departments, i.e. Procurement, Marketing and Finance

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will live within a commutable distance to Bolton and hold the following attributes and experience:

• Inventory ordering with Suppliers to forecast and stock levels
• Computer literate with advanced Excel Skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
